چاند دیکھنے کی گواہی

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَوْدِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاکُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ عِکْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ جَائَ أَعْرَابِيُّ إِلَی النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَبْصَرْتُ الْهِلَالَ اللَّيْلَةَ فَقَالَ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ قُمْ يَا بِلَالُ فَأَذِّنْ فِي النَّاسِ أَنْ يَصُومُوا غَدًا قَالَ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ هَکَذَا رِوَايَةُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ وَالْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَرَوَاهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ فَلَمْ يَذْکُرْ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَقَالَ فَنَادَی أَنْ يَقُومُوا وَأَنْ يَصُومُوا

عمرو بن عبداللہ اودی و محمد بن اسماعیل، ابواسامہ، زائدہ بن قدامہ، سماک بن حرب، عکرمہ، حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک دیہات کے رہنے والے صاحب نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا کہ آج رات میں نے چاند دیکھا۔ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا کیا تم لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ کی گواہی دیتے ہو؟ اس نے عرض کیا جی۔ ارشاد فرمایا بلال (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) اٹھو اور لوگوں میں اعلان کر دو کہ صبح روزہ رکھیں ۔

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said. "A Bedouin came to the Prophet P.B.U.H and said: 'I have seen the new crescent tonight.' He said: 'Do you bear witness that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H?' He said: 'Yes: He said: 'Get up, a Bilal, and announce to the people that they should fast tomorrow:" (Da'if) Abu' Ali said: "This is how it was narrated from Walid bin Abu Thawr and Hasan bin 'Ali. It was also narrated from Hammad bin Salamah, but he did not mention Ibn 'Abbas. He said: ' And he announced that they should perform the prayer and that they should fast:"

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَيْرِ بْنِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمُومَتِي مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالُوا أُغْمِيَ عَلَيْنَا هِلَالُ شَوَّالٍ فَأَصْبَحْنَا صِيَامًا فَجَائَ رَکْبٌ مِنْ آخِرِ النَّهَارِ فَشَهِدُوا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُمْ رَأَوْا الْهِلَالَ بِالْأَمْسِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُفْطِرُوا وَأَنْ يَخْرُجُوا إِلَی عِيدِهِمْ مِنْ الْغَدِ

ابوبکر بن ابی شیبہ، ہشیم، ابوبشیر، حضرت ابوعمیر بن انس بن مالک فرماتے ہیں کہ میرے چچاؤں نے جو انصاری صجابی تھے یہ حدیث بیان کی کہ ایک بار (ابر کی وجہ سے) ہمیں شوال کا چاند دیکھائی نہ دیا تو صبح ہم نے روزہ رکھا پھر اخیر دن میں چند سوار آئے اور نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے سامنے یہ شہادت دی کہ کل انہوں نے چاند دیکھا تو نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو حکم دیا کہ روزہ افطار کر ڈالیں اور کل صبح عید کے لئے آجائیں ۔

It was narrated that 'Umair bin Anas bin Malik said: "My paternal uncles among the Ansar who were among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H told me: 'The new crescent of Shawwal was covered with clouds, so we fasted the next day. Then some riders came at the end of the day and testified to the Prophet P.B.U.H that they had seen the It was narrated that 'Umair bin Anas bin Malik said: "My paternal uncles among the Ansar who were among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H told me: 'The new crescent of Shawwal was covered with clouds, so we fasted the next day. Then some riders came at the end of the day and testified to the Prophet P.B.U.H that they had seen the new crescent the night before. The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H commanded them to break their fast and to go out to offer the 'Eid prayer the following morning.'" (Sahih)
