أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَی عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَقَالَ إِنَّکُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي قُبُورِکُمْ

قتیبہ، سفیان، یحیی، عمرة، عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنھا سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم عذاب قبر سے پناہ مانگا کرتے تھے (عذاب قبر کے ساتھ ساتھ) مسیح دجال کے فتنہ سے پناہ مانگتے تھے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا قبر میں تمہاری آزمائش ہوگی۔

It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “Two of the old Jewish women of Al-Madinah came to me and said: ‘The people of the graves are tormented in their graves.’ But did not believe them, and I did not want to believe them. They left and the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم entered upon me, and I said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, two of the old Jewish women of Al-Madinah said that the people of the graves are tormented in their graves.’ He said: ‘They spoke the truth. They are tormented in a manner that all the animals can hear.’ And I never saw him offer any aiah but he sought refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave.” (Sahih)
