أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا فَهُنَّ لَهُمْ وَلِمَنْ أَتَی عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِنَّ مِمَّنْ کَانَ يُرِيدُ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَمَنْ کَانَ دُونَهُنَّ فَمِنْ أَهْلِهِ حَتَّی أَنَّ أَهْلَ مَکَّةَ يُهِلُّونَ مِنْهَا

قتیبہ، حماد، عمرو، طاؤس، حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے بھی اسی سند سے گزشتہ حدیث شریف کی طرح یہ حدیث نقل فرمائی گئی ہے۔

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (Sahih). designated Dhul-Uulaifah as the MIqat for the people of Al Madinah, Al-Jubfah for the people of Ash-Sham, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen, and Qarn for the people of Najd. They are for them and for those who pass by them who are not of their people, intending to perform Hajj or ‘Umrah. If a person’s place of residence is within the boundary of the MIqdt, then (he should enter Ihram) from where he starts his journey, and this also applies to the people of Makkah. (Sahih)
