أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ هَانِئٍ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ دَجَاجَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ لَا هِجْرَةَ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

عمرو بن علی، عبدالرحمن، شعبہ، یحیی بن ہانی، نعیم بن دجاجة، عمر بن خطاب نے فرمایا رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے وصال کے بعد اب ہجرت (کا حکم باقی) نہیں ہے۔

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin As-Saadi said: “We came in a delegation to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and my companions entered and asked their questions. I was the last of them to enter, and he said: ‘What is your question?’ I said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, when will emigration end?’ The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Emigration will not cease so long as the disbelievers are being fought.” (Sahih)
