أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَاصِلَةَ وَالْمُسْتَوْصِلَةَ وَالْوَاشِمَةَ وَالْمُوتَشِمَةَ أَرْسَلَهُ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِشَامٍ

اسحاق بن ابراہیم، محمد بن بشر، عبید اللہ، نافع، ابن عمر سے روایت ہے کہ رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے بال جوڑنے والی پر اور جس کے بال جوڑے جائیں اور گوندنے والی پر اور جس کا (سر) گوندا جائے۔

It was narrated from Masruq that a woman came to ‘Abdullah bin Mas’fld and said: “I am a woman with little hair; is it alright for me to add extensions to my hair?” He said: “No.” She said: “Is it something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم or that you find in the Book of Allah?” He said: “No, rather I heard it from the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم and I find it in the Book of Allah.” And he quoted the Hadith. (Sahih).
