أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَجَدَ أَبُو بَکْرٍ وَعُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي إِذَا السَّمَائُ انْشَقَّتْ وَمَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمَاالسُّجُودُ فِي اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّکَ

عمرو بن علی، یحیی، قرة بن خالد، محمد بن سیرین، ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابوبکر اور حضرت عمر نے سجدہ فرمایا اذاإِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ میں اور انہوں نے جو کہ ان دونوں سے بہتر تھے یعنی حضرت رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم۔

It was narrated that Abu Rafi’ said: “I prayed ‘Is prayer — meaning Al-’Atarnah behind Abu Hurairah and he recited: ‘When the heaven is split asunder’ and prostrated during it. When he had finished praying, I said: ‘Abu Hurairah, (this is) a prostration that we are not used to.’ He said: ‘Abu Al-Qasim did this prostration and I was (praying) behind him, and I will continue to do this prostration until I meet Abu Al-Qasim.” (Sahih)
