و حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَغُرَّنَّکُمْ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ وَلَا هَذَا الْبَيَاضُ لِعَمُودِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّی يَسْتَطِيرَ هَکَذَا

زہیر بن حرب، اسماعیل بن علیۃ، عبداللہ بن سوادة، حضرت سمرہ بن جندب فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم میں سے کوئی آدمی حضرت بلال کی اذان سے دھوکہ نہ کھائے اور نہ ہی سفیدی سے جو کہ صبح کے وقت ستونوں کی طرح ہوتی ہے یہاں تک کہ وہ ظاہر ہو جائے۔

Samura b. Jundub reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The Adhan of Bilal should not mislead you nor the whiteness (of the pillar) of dawn, for it is not the whiteness of the true dawn, but that of the false dawn which is vertical like a pillar and you can eat food till the streaks of whiteness spread like it.
