أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَی بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ وَهُوَ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُکُمْ حَتَّی يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ مِنْ الْخَيْرِ

موسی بن عبدالرحمن، ابواسامة، حسین و معلم، قتادة، انس سے روایت ہے کہ رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا اس ذات کی قسم کہ جس کے ہاتھ (یعنی قبضہ) میں میری جان ہے کہ تم لوگوں میں سے کوئی شخص مومن نہیں ہوتا جس وقت تک کہ اپنے واسطے بھلائی چاہے جس قدر بھلائی چاہتا ہے اسی قدر اپنے مسلمان بھائی کے واسطے۔

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “There are four (traits), whoever has them is a hypocrite and whoever has one of them, then has one of the traits of hypocrisy until he gives it up: When he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; when he makes a covenant, he betrays it; and when he argues, he resorts to foul language.” (Sahih)
